Femmigration.net was way ahead of its time, a site devoted to trafficked women in Europe. From the Daphne program within the European Commission, it provided resources for migrant women in each country in the EU, particularly women those who had been moved against their will to another country, and placed in sex slavery.
While Femmigration.net focused on helping women in the EU, the problem of women being trafficked is world wide. We wanted to bring this old site back as a historical record of this effort to bring attention to women issues as it relates to migration. Moreover, we plan on providing additional resources for trafficked women in the US.
